Sari-Sari Story is a visual storytelling company, specializes in creating video stories that matter to you, to your stakeholders, and to our communities. We support our clients from concept development to video production.

Sari-Sari Story, is inspired by a Sari-Sari Store, a small neighbourhood store that carries a variety of goods that are essential to most households in the Philippines. Our name is not only a snapshot of the services we can offer our partners, it is also a representation of the combined technical skills and work experience we have in our team.

Our Team

We are visual storytellers with 15 years experience in advertising, public relations, broadcast media and creative entrepreneurship.

Arden is a filmmaker and a photographer with technical skills and work experience in broadcast and video production. He is currently a freelance creator for CBC and a grant recipient of CBRM Creative Catalyst Program.

In the past 15 years, Arden created several online content and TV commercials for global brands such as Dunkin Donuts and Philippine Airlines while also running his own video production company. He also worked as a producer for Nova Stream and Eastlink TV and he was also a TV commercial director for ABS-CBN, the biggest broadcasting company in the Philippines.

Des is a communications professional with background experience in several industries including creative, media, public relations, academe, and non profit. Specializing in strategic planning, Des spearheaded campaigns for various stakeholders across industries and sectors n the past 15 years for clients such as Royal Caribbean, Procter & Gamble, Hitachi, Chevron, and Sony.

Currently, Des is supports the communications of a non profit organization in Nova Scotia and is also a marketing consultant for small businesses in CBRM. Des sits as a co-chair for Cape Breton Local Immigration Partnership - Immigrant Advisory Table and also a creative entrepreneur, amplifying the stories and work of Filipino artists, makers and independent labels in the Philippines and abroad.
